After countless trips from island to island, hospital to hospital Corazon could not find a doctor that could cure young Law's disease. Every doctor either screamed and panicked or call the whole hospital into lockdown when they heard law's disease.

Law had a disease called Amber Lead Syndrome a non-contagious, hereditary disease caused by the accumulation of Amber Lead in the victim's body after prolonged exposure to the mineral. Amber Lead poisoning is unnoticeable in its early stages when in low concentration, but its effects are observable, given that each infected person's descendants had noticeably shorter lifespans. This is due to the fact that the disease is passed on to the next generation, resulting in every subsequent generation having a shorter lifespan than the previous one.

As much as Law kept fighting Corazon to just give up since every hospital has rejected Law out of panic. Corazon would not give up, determined to find someone willing or even able to cure Law but after days...and then weeks soon turned into months the both were losing hope. The two stopped in the middle of a forest to rest for the night

Corazon: "Alright Law were going to rest for the night...and we'll wake up bright and early and search for another hospital!" he says as he trips over his own feet while setting up a sleeping bag

Law: "Dumbass..." he says under his breath

Corazon making a fire Corazon: "Talk to me Law, it's awfully quiet!"

Law sits up from his sleeping bag Law: "Uhh what do you want to talk about..?"

Corazon smiles Corazon: "Anything! Ask me anything we need to lighten the mood with some sort of conversation"

Law looks down and thinks, a thought pops up in his head Law: "Corazon ever since we met I've noticed you've been wearing a ring on your left hand...are you married..?
