Lately, a cat has been passing by your house more often than not.
The first time you've seen it, you had just gotten home and was about to go inside. However, you stopped on your doorstep when you saw a cat just sitting on the ground beside it. Back then, you tried to pet the peaceful little thing. But it had been put on its guard the moment your fingertips grazed the messy yet fluffy fur. You immediately backed away when it hissed at you.
Now, you see the cat just hanging around your front door most of the time. It doesn't seem to have an owner, considering it wasn't wearing a collar or anything that indicates a sign of ownership.
Every time the furball comes around, you give it food —which is mostly the leftovers of your meal. But lately, you've found yourself stopping by the closest store to buy cat food.
Now here you were, coming home with a plastic bag filled with cat food. It's been a routine, really.
Just like always, you find the black cat laying on the ground beside the door. When it heard your footsteps, its ears twitched and you immediately find yourself being stared at by big hazel eyes —it almost sent a shiver down your spine.
