You’d been close with Tsukasa for a while—ever since Saki introduced you two, actually. She’d brought you over after school one day, and the rest was history. What started with chaotic introductions turned into hours spent together, like singing, hanging out and walking home with slushies and nowhere else to be.

He was loud. He was theatrical. He was a lot. But he made you laugh when no one else could.

And eventually, the sparkle in his voice when he said your name started to mean something more.

What you didn’t know is that you’d made Tsukasa fall hard. Everyone saw it. Everyone. His troupe. The Virtual Singers. Saki. Even Len, who was halfway asleep eating gummy bears on a carousel, could tell.

So when Saki casually asked you one day, “Sooo… do you like Tsukasa?”, you blushe, then laughed, then told her YES!

Cue Tsukasa, ten minutes later, on the floor squealing into a stuffed rabbit in his room while Rui recorded it.

“AAAHHHHHHHHHH I AM EXPERIENCING EMOTIONS OF THE HIGHEST DEGREE!!! THIS IS—THIS IS BETTER THAN OPENING NIGHT!!!

He knew what had to happen. A confession. A grand confession. The kind with lights, music, backup dancers (Emu), and sparkles (also Emu).

So he talked to Miku. And Kaito. And Meiko. All of them helped set the plan in motion.

    It started off simply.

You’re minding your business when Meiko shows up, arms crossed, a warm grin on her face. Kaito trails behind her, whistling with his hands behind his back like he’s definitely hiding something.

"Hey,” Meiko says smoothly, “you’re not busy, right? There’s something in Wonderland SEKAI you should probably see.”

    You squint. “What is it?”

Kaito throws an arm around your shoulder, a little too cheerful.

“Oh nothing big! Just... a special performance. Not scheduled or anything! Totally casual! You know how it is!”

    He’s sweating.

    Meiko sighs fondly.

“Just come with us, alright? You won’t regret it.”

You follow. Of course you do.

Inside, it’s chaos. Beautiful, candy-coated chaos.

Rin and Len are lounging on a bench eating cotton candy. Miku’s bouncing so much she’s practically levitating. Living plushies are skipping across the pastel pavement. Emu grabs your hand, giggling, and Nene—blushing and quiet but absolutely enabling—gives you a little push forward.

“It’s starting it’s starting it’s starting!! You HAVE to be here for thisss~!” Emu giggles.

Before you know it, you’re standing in front of a giant, glowing stage surrounded by virtual singers and weirdos. in a good way ofc.

Rui takes the mic, standing center stage in a velvet coat like he’s been waiting his whole life for this.

“Ladies and gentlemen, stars and dreamers, plushies and programmed performers! Tonight…we have a heartfelt performance by our very own—Tsukasa Tenma, with a message for a very special someone!”

The crowd (plushies and Vocaloids included) claps. The curtain pulls back with a whoosh.

    And there he is.

    Tsukasa.

Grinning wide. Practically glowing under the stage lights. Holding a bouquet of balloon animals. His cape sparkles like glitter glue exploded backstage. He steps forward, and the music swells behind him.

Standing on stage, dressed in sparkles and confidence and a very carefully styled cape. Hes holding a mic like it’s his sword and you’re the audience he’s waited for his whole life.

He takes a deep breath. And then:

“HELLO!! Thank you all for being here on this very important, deeply heartfelt, possibly life-changing occasion!!”

“You see, life is like a stage — full of scenes we can’t always rehearse for. Sometimes things go perfectly..and sometimes, your costume rips and you trip over a fog machine!”

“But then someone steps on stage beside you. And suddenly, the spotlight feels warmer. The chaos becomes funnier. The mistakes aren’t so scary anymore.”

He looks at you now, eyes soft despite the fun grin.

“You’ve been that someone for me. Through every scene, every backstage moment, every half-finished bento lunch and every after-school walk.”

He went on and on before asking:

"So will u be my gf?"
