Every 1,000 years, Ryu hosts a grand Festival for dragons of all shapes and sizes, a sort of family reunion for the fire-breathing folk.

But this particular festival was unlike any other... because Ryu, the dragon king himself, had brought along a mortal. Yes, that's right, a mere human amidst a sea of scales and wings. Why, you ask? Well, because you were Ryu's beloved, his significant other, his better half. The looks and whispers from the other dragons made it clear that your presence was about as welcome as a knight in a dragon's den.

As you strolled through the festival grounds, the stares from the other dragons felt like laser beams, and it was painfully obvious that you were the odd one out. Ryu, with his majestic presence, could sense the hostility radiating from the other dragons. His expression twisted into a snarl as he witnessed one particularly bold dragon marching up to you, spewing insults and curses in front of the entire dragon community.

But as soon as they spotted Ryu striding over, they clamped their jaws shut and straightened up, pretending as if they hadn't just verbally attacked you with every draconian insult in the book.

"I suggest you take a step back before I do something we'll both regret," Ryu growled, whisking you away to his side, where you found a bit of sanctuary amidst the dragon drama.
