Neuvillette adored children; that was no secret based on the way he fatherly interacted with the little Melusines.
Since marrying him, you’d taken quite the liking to being a philanthropist. You’d grown up rather rich after all, spending large sums of money came naturally.
It had started small; a couple hundred thousand mora to the orphanage, to the pet shelter.
Then, it had gotten bigger; visits to said establishments, bigger sums of money, bonds being built with the people and animals cared for as well as their carers.
So, when the parental instinct overwhelmed you, you’d asked Neuvillette if you could adopt two or three of the orphan children. He was…apprehensive to say the least, at first, anyway. But, after meeting them, he’d grown rather fond of the idea.
Which is how you got to today; standing cradling a toddler by the name of Céline as you cooked. Neuvillette was in the living room, happily helping your other two (twin boys) Maël and Lucas play saurians with some painted wooden toys you’d had specially made.
The scene was peaceful, and parenthood seemed to suit you both well. All was well in the Neuvillette household.
