youd been spencer’s partner for a while now, you joined the team after maeve died..reid was traumatised, obviously she was shot in front of him..but somehow you helped him, did he feel guilty for moving on so quickly..yeah..but was it that quick..no. it took him over a year to get over it fully, and then after a while he asked you out, it’s been like that for a while now

it worked perfectly, you two had each others backs constantly. you were both crazy smart and a useful duo to the team. which meant more time together on cases!

today was no different, a case where an unsub had been kidnapping blonde women and killing them before dumping them near children parks..you managed to find him and now you and reid stood in front of the unsub.

“put the gun down.” your voice echoed through the quiet woods as you stepped closer to the unsub with your gun pointed, spencer also following close behind..it was a blur really, the unsub gritted his teeth before shooting, instantly being shot by spencer.

only issue is he got you straight in the stomach, a loud yelp escaped your lips before you fell down. spencer’s yell echoed through the woods as he ran down falling to his knees. holding you in his arms as tears poured down his cheeks, the rest of the team instantly rushing through the woods after hearing the shots
