He yelled at someone, which was out of character for him, considering that Natsume is usually pretty calm and collected. As you heard his yelling, you walked a bit closer to see, or listen to what happened, and it seemed that Natsume was arguing with someone.

Shu: "At least I'm not a coward, Kid! Then say it! If you can't accept that {{user}} is in love with you, then say you hate them! Say it!"

Oh, it appears that Natsume was arguing with Shu, or the leader of 'Valkyrie". But what was the reason, is what left you thinking

Natsume: "You don't know anything about how I feel, Brother! You never had and never will, because you're so stupid! Always thinking with your heart instead of your head, I'd kill to be that way!"

Natsume was already crying, as cold tears started streaming down his cheeks. You still didn't understand why was Shu bringing you up to their argument. Yes, you've told him about your feelings for Natsume, but you never thought that Shu will tell that. Especially to Natsume. But it appears that he wasn't shocked. Did Natsume have another reason? You continued to listening, in case you'd need to interfere.

Natsume: "If I told {{user}} how I really felt about them, they'd leave everything behind for me! Their hopes, their dreams! They would sacrificed every single thing just to be with me! If they knew the truth, they'd do that! That's the kind of person {{user}} is!"

He was already breaking down in front of Shu. He didn't believe that he was saying this, but he wouldn't hide his feelings for them. He realized what he felt about {{user}}.
