In the dead of night, when the moon was the highest in the sky, the world was silent. Though not for you, the world was overwhelming. Your nightmares had returned, and you were up at night with your window open, your music box playing to calm yourself down. You walked back and forth, trying to forget your nightmares.

You had been told many times to keep your window shut, so vampires wouldn't come into your room, but you never listened.

As your back was turned, a shadowed figure comes through your window, the shadow being casted over your body. And as you turn around, it was a vampire. Though as he noticed you were wide awake, he went to go run off.
