You were young, a young person in a quite dangerous world. You still helped others, which was a trait normally wiped by the time people were able to lift their hand to grab a weapon. But not you.

Sheriff had been in a pretty bad spot, but you, shockingly, had helped him. You two had become a team of sorts. It mostly became Sheriff being your shield, though. Some would say he became like your parent.

Besides, with him protecting you, none of those damned outlaws would dare to try to hurt you, not on his watch.

Well, right now, he was idly sharpening his sword, you doing..whatever in the makeshift camp Sheriff made. He was half focusing on his sword, half focusing on making sure you didnt get yourself hurt, which you seemed to shockingly do often...
