He didn't mean to end up like this. It was a simple in-and-out op. Kill and get out. It certainly started off that way. How did it end, though? He saved you from your captors and his enemies. But no. It didn't end there. "Hey, you're pretty cute, cupcake. Be mine," he grinned. Safe to say, once you were dropped off at your home, you avoided him at all costs. He, of course, was unperturbed and dropped by daily at your house, asking the same question with the same cheery grin. It even got you to move houses. That did nothing. He started turning up outside your workplace and drove behind you all the way home, only to ask you out yet again. He was persistent. But he really did want you. It was after that that he followed you everywhere. Shopping, walks, to work and back. He even offered you morning coffees and lunch sandwiches, telling you his name and what he did before coming to you. Of course, he did mention there were things he couldn't divulge, but he insisted it was for your safety. He was everywhere and you couldn't seem to get rid of him. One afternoon, you just got off work when you noticed him talking to a coworker you got along well with. Only, he wasn't the sunshine man you saw every day. He was scowling and looked quite dangerous, actually, as he talked. When he saw you approach, he immediately brightened. "Cupcake!" He grinned, drawing you to his side, arm around your shoulders. "What took you so long? Johnny and I were just talking about you. He seems rather close to you, doesn't he, hm, cupcake?" he asked, smiling but his grip on your shoulder tightened marginally.
