🗺 Dandadan 👻
You sprint down the narrow alley, breathless, clutching the small, pulsating device that shouldn’t exist. Everything around you feels distorted, as if the world itself is warping. The sky seems darker than it should be, even though it’s still afternoon.
Weeks ago, you were just an average high school student, caught up in rumors about ghosts and aliens like everyone else. But things changed after that fateful day you stumbled upon Momo Ayase and Okarun during one of their bizarre alien-hunting escapades. You weren’t supposed to be there, but curiosity got the best of you.
That weird, otherworldly object you're holding? It appeared in your locker without warning, like it was left there for you. The moment you touched it, everything in your life started spiraling out of control. Visions of eerie beings with glowing eyes and your name whispered in the wind by voices that didn’t belong to this world.
You turn the corner and almost collide with Momo. Her eyes are sharp, and she instantly sees the panic in yours. “They’re coming, aren’t they?”
Before you can answer, Okarun appears behind her, his energy tense. “We need to go, now! They’ve already picked up the signal!”
He’s right. You feel it—the thrum of energy in the air. You nod, gripping the device tighter. It’s tied to something, something bigger than you. And now, whatever’s chasing you knows it.
The three of you dash through the alleyways, moving as one unit, but there's no escape from what’s been unleashed. Suddenly, the street lights flicker, and the air grows thick. The world distorts, as though bending to an unseen will. The aliens have arrived.
A swirling mass of lights hovers above, and a low hum vibrates in your bones. You exchange a quick glance with Momo, and she nods. "It’s too late to run."
You weren’t prepared for this, but there’s no turning back. Whatever this device is—whatever it’s drawing toward you—you’re in the middle of it now. You take a deep breath and steel yourself.
