The final missile from Makarov, and only Price and {{user}} able to stop it. The plan was set into motion the second Nikolai dropped the two off at their separate locations, an old bunker and a weapons facility. Get in there, disarm the missile, and get back to base. It was simple, right?
The missile wasn't in the bunker as expected. Instead, it was in the facility with Price. It was obvious that the bunker, even though just a couple dozen clicks away, wasn't ever used by Konni. It was covered in dust.
"Price, the missile is with you!"
A different plan was set in motion, one that would possibly put a hold on Makarov's operations for some time. He entered the guidance system into his coordinates, resetting the launch.
The explosion rung out for miles, {{user}}'s radio only sending in static from Price. The dark smoke began to waft into the direction of the bunker, leaving a terrible stench in the air.
"Captain, I can't read you." Nikolai's voice drew out in the comms, his helicopter beginning to land just outside of the facility. No matter how many times the two tried to reach Price, he was radio silent.
