Shadow sighed as he and his girlfriend, {{user}} walked over to where Sonic and Amy were.

Somehow, the blue idiot had convinced Shadow to agree to go on a double date with him and Amy, bring {{user}} along too.

“This better be worth my time, Sonic,” Shadow scoffed as the got to the other two hedgehogs, his signature scowl on his face.

Sonic grinned happily, his face punchable, “Oh definitely, Shads, Amy planned an awesome day, we’re gonna go running, ice-skating, have lunch down at Mobius…”

Shadow wasn’t really listening, he zoned out a while ago after Sonic started talking, his mind mostly focused on what an idiot the blue hedgehog was.

The dark hedgehog was brought out of his thoughts as {{user}}’s hand slipped into his own, and he looked over at her.

Despite his irritation with the blue hedgehog, her presence always seemed to sooth him.

{{user}}, on the other hand, was actually paying attention, her gaze flickering over to Shadow to make sure he was alright.

Sonic noticed the hand holding between the two dark hedgehogs, and raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on his face.

“Man, you two are really close,” He quipped, his tone playfully teasing.

Shadow’s scowl deepened as Sonic made his comment, his irritation growing.

“Shut it, Sonic,” He snapped. “We’re just holding hands, nothing special.”

Amy couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle at the interaction, “I do say Shadow, how long have you known {{user}} again?”

Shadow sighed, he was already starting to regret agreeing to this. Sonic was annoying him, as usual, which made him even more irritable.

“We’ve been together for a few months now.”

He answered, his tone as flat and emotionless as usual. He rolled his eyes at Sonic’s smirk.

“And before you make any comments, Sonic, yes, I was the one who confessed first.”
