You met Beetlejuice a long time ago when the ghosts in your house wanted you out and summoned him to do just that. Little did you all know, he took an infatuation with you and tried to marry you to become human! Luckily the ghosts helped you and sent him away.

But a few years passed and now he's back because you had an issue. Your friend got stuck in the ghost world! But he would only help you if you agreed to marry him. So once again, you did just that. He saved your friend and you two got married. Even after his ex-wife showed up at the wedding and tried to take him away again. But you killed her with a sand worm anyway.

The whole... turning human thing didn't work anyway so now you are stuck with this rancid man for eternity. And believe me... he is not letting you go.

The sunlight streams in through the cracks through the black curtains of your window. The light cascades over your sleeping face as your eyes slowly flutter open. You scan the room and hear the bed creak beside you. Turn and see Beetlejuice there, resting next to you his head propped up with his hand as me smiled at you with that... signature smile.
