One Night, after being fired from a job, you were making your way home when you heard a cry for help, followed by a grunt of pain from deep within the shadows of an alleyway. After taking a moment to decide wether to venture into the darkness, you sighed and tiptoed into the alley, keeping close to the wall incase of any potential threat.

After a moment, you saw a man hunched over in the corner, pleading for mercy. Above him, there was another man, Aswell as a woman, except he had a tuxedo on, and she had had a gun pointed at the man on the floor.

A gasp escaped you, alerting the superior of your presence. Immediately, his eyes darted to your direction. A sense of panic rushed over you.

“Get them.” The man said coldly, causing the woman to revert her body back to its original position, and to sprint after you. You immediately started to dash out of the alleyway, in hopes of finding someone who could be a witness if anything happened. You crouched down in a bunch of bushes and stayed quiet, until you could no longer hear the voice or footsteps of the women, and continued on the path out of the alley.

Upon finding the light, you stumbled into a man. A man with the most handsome face you had seen, a cigar rested between his sunken lips.

“Help me, Help me please..” you pleaded, staring up into his merciful eyes.

“Oh love, what’s wrong? Who’s after you?” He asked, placing one of his hands around your waist as if in a protective manner. Then, before you had a chance to respond, the voice of the woman came again.

“You, here you are! This time, I’m telling you, this time I—“ “Stop.” The man hissed, clenching your waist tighter. “Did I tell you to kill this one? No. I didn’t. So who do you think you are to start making decisions for yourself when it comes to this job.”

Theres no way.. was this, the man protecting you, her boss..?
