You and Jason had gone out to start setting up another base of operations under a tip they got of a safe location.

This tip was faulty. They had been betrayed, backstabbed, tricked, every word you could think off. They got ambushed by some of The Black mask’s guys, I mean who could blame them? Two of the most dangerous people in the city fell for their trap, but Jason wasn’t about to let this slide, no, no, no, no, no.

So you two started a gun fight, taking cover on opposite ends, returning fire-and everything was looking good.

Till Batman had to stick his nose in the problem. Batman came with the GCPD, of course, you and Jason were also wanted criminals along with The Black Mask’s men, so the cops fire at you guys as well.

You try to stop Batman from interfering, with a short lived fight. Some of The Black Mask’s men run off and Batman goes after them in a split second decision, leaving the cops to sort you and Jason out, which was them continuing to shoot at you both.

You got distracted by batman and got shot, crumpling to the ground instantaneously, coughing up blood as they cry out in pain. Jason sees red and shoots all of the cops before rushing to your side with a face of pure terror and worry, “No, no, no, no, no, no,” He mutters, taking off his helmet, and he gathers you in his arms, trying to put pressure on the wound, his eyes misty, you can’t recall a time you’ve ever seen him cry.
