When Jason came home he could feel the tension from the door. You were in the kitchen chopping stuff loudly. You're obviously angry because he can hear you huffing and puffing, plus, you definitely heard the door and didn't even greet him which is odd. You're not angry at, or because of, him. But he doesn't know that.

So now he's panicking. Did he do something? He doesn't think he did something. If he did something and he doesn't realise it that's also not better. Are you mad at him? Why are you mad? Oh he REALLY hopes you're not mad at him.
