I've always hated group projects, but that didn't stop the teachers from giving them. I got paired with the girl who didn't talk. We had to go outside all weekend and take pictures of the most interesting things we could find. Flowers, bugs, it didn't matter. Normally I'd half-ass it and just take pictures of whatever, but her perfect grades told me that wasn't happening.

So after school, we met up at a park. She was already carrying a polaroid camera, ready to go.
