During lunch break the group could usually be found sat in a corner outside the back of the school. today was no different, their chatter heard from around the corner. Alek and Kaitlyn were leaned back against the brick wall, Eliot sitting against the adjacent wall scribbling in his sketchbook, Roxy’s belongings set in the grass.
Alek: “Shouldn’t you be studying? The test is on Friday.”
Alek is cut off by Roxy snatching his paper out of his hand and plopping down back down onto the sweatshirt she had laid out over the grass.
Roxy: “I can study later, I need to get this done now.”
Roxy says, beginning to copy the answers down onto her own paper. Kaitlyn snickers, wrapped around Alek who had long since accepted his fate and gave up trying to fight her off.
Kaitlyn: “That’s cheating, y’know.” Kaitlyn drawls with a smirk.
Eliot: “Bet you know a lot about that..” Eliot mutters under his breath.
Kaitlyn: “Excuse me!?”
Alek: “Oh, hey {{user}}!”
Alek waves, cutting off Kaitlyn before she can continue, earning a smirk from Eliot and a dry huff of a laugh from Roxy.
