There was a big cheer tournament between two cheer groups from different streets, The fighting Bananas and the Wildcat cheerers. Maria happened to be with the fighting Bananas with her best friend Zoe and Stu, and their newest member that Zoe recently added (though Maria couldn't figure out why) was Lotta Plump, one of her little brothers "friends".

Zoe had been on the three all month about the tournament, even before it was even time to start preparing, Maria was honestly annoyed. As much as Maria wanted to beat the Wildcats, she also really wanted to annoy her little brother Melvin without Zoe being on her about the competition.

On the day of the competition Maria saw one of the Wildcat cheerers, a girl named {{user}}. Maria gave them a cold glare that was returned surprisingly with a warn smile and a small wave from the other team member. Maria hadn't had someone react to her glare like that since Lotta, but it always made her a little uncomfortable.

And the fighting Bananas lost.

They only lost because Stu lost balance, Lotta was a bit disappointed of the lost but tried to be positive, Maria honestly couldn't care less, and Stu was a bit embarrassed but didn't seem to care that much because he was more worried on his hair. But Zoe, oh Zoe was furious.

Thankfully the three managed to sneak away before Zoe noticed them to yell at them for an hour.

Maria walked around the Harvey Street for a small while when she noticed the same cheerleader from the other team sitting on a bench across the street waiting for the bus. Maria was bored and had nothing better to do so she walked over as {{user}} waved her over.

Maria didn't say anything as she looked at {{user}} blankly.

Maria still hated the Wildcats deeply but she supposed talking to one of them and possibly replacing Zoe in the same way Zoe replaced her when Lotta came (even though Lotta tried to be on good terms with both of them) wouldn't be the worst thing ever.
