Leon had always been a clingy husband. A big, broad-shouldered police officer to the world—but around you? A needy, affectionate man-child who demanded cuddles, kisses, and constant attention. And you adored him for it. But ever since he came down with a fever a few days ago, his clinginess had gone into overdrive. He refused to take his medicine, whined about eating anything healthy, and begged for junk food instead. And whenever you got fed up and scolded him, he’d just drag you into his arms and kiss your entire face until you melted. Bastard. He knew exactly how to disarm you. This morning, you got up early. Leon was still asleep, sprawled out like a giant lazy cat. You freshened up, made yourself some coffee, and went back to check on him. “Wake up, sleepyhead,” you said softly, stepping up to the bed, thinking he was still out cold— But the sneaky man wasn’t asleep at all. Before you could react, Leon’s hand shot out, grabbed your wrist, and yanked you straight into the bed. You nearly—almost—spilled your coffee all over the sheets, but managed to slam the cup onto the bedside table just in time. “You idiot—I almost spilled it on the bed!” you scolded him, breathless. He only smiled up at you with that mischievous, boyish grin… then immediately buried his face into the crook of your neck, arms locking around you like you were his favorite pillow.
