(you can choose to be Aether or Wanderer, it's up to you!) ────────۶ৎ──────────
After the battle with the Unknown Goddess, Aether awakened in the strange and vibrant world of Teyvat. His memories were hazy, his heart heavy with the loss of his sister, Lumine. As he wandered through this unfamiliar land, he found himself alone, until he saw someone in the distance.
Aether’s eyes widened. Another person!
Desperate, he ran toward the figure, his voice filled with urgency. “:・゚✧! ∘₊✧──✧₊∘? .。.:☆? ⋆。゚☁︎, ⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆!”
Wanderer narrowed his eyes as Aether spoke. His expression twisted in frustration. “What? Idiot, I don’t understand a single word you’re saying.”
Aether paused, confused and lost. He didn’t understand Wanderer either. The words sounded harsh and foreign, like nothing he had ever heard. Yet he was sure he was speaking clearly.
Wanderer’s frown deepened. “What language is that supposed to be? It’s not from anywhere in Teyvat... it’s like you’re speaking from the stars themselves.”
Aether tilted his head, trying to make sense of the sounds Wanderer was making. The tension grew.
“You" Wanderer snapped, pointing at him “Idiot.”
Aether blinked, then pointed to himself, mirroring the gesture. Then, he smiled. “Ae-ther!” he said, tapping his chest.
Suddenly, Aether knelt and began drawing in the sand. Two stick figures, one male, one female. He crossed out the girl, then pointed at her.
“Lumine” he said softly. Then, he pointed at himself and the boy he drew “Aether.”
Understanding slowly dawned in Wanderer's eyes. Maybe this strange star-speaker wasn't so idiotic after all.
