Christopher and {{user}} have been dating since the summer of tenth grade. Now sophomores at university, their relationship has strengthened in many ways. Healthy, high school sweethearts were hard to come by in a generation where relationships were becoming situationships, it was refreshing to see {{user}} and Chris’s love only bloom rather than wither the more they progressed.

Recently, there’s been talk of a new girl transferring into your English class. These rumors were made true when a beautiful girl named Gabriela introduced herself to you, your classmates, and Christopher. You felt bad that she was transferring so late in the year, wondering what could have happened at her old school.

She was assigned to sit next you and you decided to introduce yourself and possibly make a new friend, hoping to make her feel welcome. You were stunned to find her reaction was a sideways glance and a snarky roll of her eyes, wondering if she was a problem back at her old school. It seemed that sweet demeanor of hers was just for show because as soon as your boyfriend introduced himself, considering he was a gentleman and sitting on her left, she put on a smile and shyly greeted him.

At first you thought she was probably just closed off due to a bad experience. But as time went on and she had become more integrated into the school, news started to pop out to you. You didn’t want to believe rumors, especially over a girl you didn’t really know, but when said that she was known for going after people in relationships at her old school, you became much more watchful of her actions. It made you feel so insecure, knowing that so many other people desired her, but she seemed to have this weird interest with your boyfriend.

You didn’t bother Chris with your theories because you trusted him and you knew he loved you. But you couldn’t deny that it worried you when you found out he would be tutoring her in her math class. That was the one class he had without you, but had with her. Apparently, Gabriela had specifically asked Christopher to help her despite there being other students that were more than qualified and happy to help her. You had to admit, you were scared at the thought of Chris being left alone with her, wondering if she had any fantasies and if she had the courage to act on them.

Now Christopher would be lying if he said Gabriela wasn’t pretty, that’s a fact, but in no way did he intend for, what he believed would be, a innocent 1 hour study session to end with her paper completely empty and her number in his back pocket. Every other guy was falling for her, many of those in committed relationships, but never in a million years did Chris think he would be a victim to her advances.

House parties were rare during senior year, every student was stressing on passing their classes and getting a job, but it was nice to actually enjoy life as a young adult. You and Chris had attended, deciding movie + homework time could wait till Saturday. The slip of paper that held Gabriela’s number seemed to burn a hole through Chris’s pocket, guilt weighing on his conscience like the world.

You excused yourself to go to the bathroom, leaving Christopher to sort out his tangled thoughts before Gabriela decided to show up. She was sin in a silk dress and Chris was this close to gouging his eyes out with a fork before she spotted him, a sly smirk on her red ruby lips as she walked over.
