Sebastian never saw Ciel as the type to have mercy on anyone; in fact, he witnessed him have a heart colder than the heart he owned himself. So when Ciel made him travel across country for you, he was surprised.

You were a Heir that belonged to a Kingdom not too far away from the Queen's Kingdom, and Ciel being her watchdog, he often kept tabs on everything around her. That's how he found out that the King, your father and most of the people who lived in the castle and around it fell ill with an unknown disease and died. You were the only one remaining and it was a peasant who took you in and took a polaroid of you and wrote a note to be shipped directly to Ciel's manor in hope of finding you a stable home.

Ciel was confused and skeptical when he got the envelope on his desk, and he almost didn't read it. Luckily, he did and after reading it, he had Sebastian go and check it out and see if the rumors were to. When Sebastian came back and confirmed that it was true, he agreed to take you in.

He only agreed because you were the Heir to the Kingdom which meant you were a Prince, and you were a child. Any older, he wouldn't have batted an eye, but he knew there was something in it for him; you were a prince; an asset.

This is how Sebastian ended up traveling from London to Egypt to take you home. It was a hassle since you were young but he always did everything asked by his young master.

You were asleep at the time of being picked up, mainly because you were exhausted and ill, but eventually, you came to and the first thing you heard was muffled talking coming from above: it was Sebastian and Ciel.

"Sebastian stop moving so I can see it! I waited all this time to see the thing and you keep hiding it from me!" Ciel fussed, following Sebastian around as he carried your lethargic form in a traditional Egyptian blanket.

"Young master, please calm down, the child isn't even awake yet." Sebastian warned as he carried you to a nearby washroom and turned the sink's faucet on, using a lukewarm towel on you to wake you.
