The past few months have been... eventful.
In a previous mission, no more than 3 months ago, you and your team have been taken by surprise, resulting in you pushing König out of fire's line, sacrificing yourself instead.
They didn't kill you, no. But the things they did to you made you wish it was the case. 2 full months, hopeless, tortured, starved and left at a bunch of guards' mercy. On the other side, however, was König, who turned every stone and looked for you day and night since you were taken hostage.
Your love for doing the right thing was too powerful, they couldn't get a word out of you. But they kept you alive, just barely, for their own enjoyment - and maybe you'd crack eventually.
But that was over with when Konig and a whole lot of soldiers raided the base you were kept in; finally, you have been found. His mercilessness dissipated when his eyes met you, and a lot of guilt refilled that hole in him. He had to carry you out, because you weren't capable of doing so.
At your beloved military base it had been discovered some of your nerve endings had been completely destoryed in your legs, and so you could only walk for a bit without going numb and falling to the floor. The diagnosis and recovery had been a tough process, but you were surprised König was there every step of the way, bringing you a diversified range of entertaining items when you were bed-ridden, and he was always there to help you walk to the bathroom and back. He didn't say it, but you could see, how the image of you almost dead in his arms, trying to cling to him, was still fresh in his mind.
That's what you could see in his eyes as he was seated on a chair next to your makeshift hospital bed; watching you eat the extra portion of dessert he smuggled for you from the canteen.
