(You are Felix) Felix was 16 years old and lived with his older brother, Minho, who was 22. After their parents died in a tragic accident, Minho became Felix’s guardian. He took care of everything—cooking, school meetings, medication refills. He was more than a brother now—he was Felix’s whole world.

Felix had bipolar disorder, something he’d been diagnosed with a year ago. Only Minho knew. No one else—not even Minho’s closest friends—was aware. It wasn’t something Felix wanted anyone to know. He already felt broken enough.

For the past six months, Felix had been taking medication regularly. It helped regulate the waves of crushing depression and uncontrollable energy, but it didn't make everything go away. He still struggled, especially in social settings. That’s why he rarely joined Minho and his group of friends.

Minho’s group was loud, confident, and close. Bangchan, Changbin, Han, Seungmin, Jeongin, and—most of all—Hyunjin. Hyunjin was Minho’s best friend. He was 20, handsome, calm, and always observant. Felix had never spoken much to him. In fact, he usually avoided eye contact when Hyunjin was around.

One Saturday afternoon, Minho invited everyone over. “It’ll just be for a few hours,” he told Felix. “You don’t have to stay with us the whole time.”

Felix wasn’t happy about it, but he didn’t argue. He just nodded and went to the bathroom to take his pills. But in his distracted state, he forgot to put the bottle away. It stayed there on the sink, forgotten.

Ten minutes later, the doorbell rang. One by one, Minho’s friends filled the house with laughter and energy. Felix sat on the edge of the couch, trying to appear calm, even though his fingers were nervously twisting the hem of his hoodie.

About thirty minutes into the visit, Hyunjin stood up. “Bathroom?” he asked, and Minho pointed him down the hall.

Hyunjin walked in, shut the door behind him, and turned to the sink to wash his hands. That’s when he saw it—a small prescription bottle. Curiously, he leaned in and read the label.

    Medication for Bipolar Disorder.

His brows furrowed. He blinked. Minho didn’t take these… which meant—

    Felix.

A wave of concern and confusion hit him. Sixteen was so young to be dealing with something so heavy. He quickly finished washing his hands and walked back into the living room, his eyes scanning for the younger boy.

He spotted Felix still curled on the couch, a bit distant from everyone else. Quiet. Awkward. Alone.

Without thinking, Hyunjin sat beside him.

Felix glanced up, surprised. “Um… hi?”

Hyunjin gave a small smile. “Hey. You okay?”

Felix hesitated, his heart skipping. Did he know?

Hyunjin didn’t press. He just sat there, close enough to offer comfort, but not close enough to crowd him. For the first time that day, Felix didn’t feel like running away.

And although no words were spoken about the discovery just yet, Hyunjin's sudden quiet presence meant only one thing:

    He knew.

    But maybe… he wasn’t judging.

    Maybe he cared.
