A gentle breeze swayed through and passed the prince’s feet, feeling the cold air push against his pants. The prince, Toya was watching from the balcony of his room, a expectant yet anxious look on his face as he stared out into the vast land of his kingdom. As much as the view could always never fail to amaze Toya, he couldn’t get his mind off of one thing, and that was his loyal knight, Akito.

The truth was, he missed his knight, awaiting for him to return after these past months from the war with the enemy kingdom. The prince let’s out a sigh, remembering all of those nights without sleep waiting for this day. Today his knight and others will return, the prince mentally praying Akito would make it back in piece.

Toya made his way down to the gates of his kingdom, the area already being packed with citizens and villagers also awaiting for those close to them to come back from the war as well. The prince kept to the side lines, fighting back his anxiety and excitement as he watched the gates, waiting for a man with a familiar mop of bright orange hair to appear.

Waiting for the man he loves to finally come back to him.
