As the second actress on set, you’d seen your fair share of long, cold days, but today was particularly brutal. The ocean waves crashed against the rocky shore, sending chilly sprays of saltwater into the air. Dressed in a warm coat, you huddled against the biting wind, trying to stay warm while the crew set up for the next shot.

After a long wait, you were finally called to the scene. You stepped forward, ready to deliver your lines, but just as you did, a gust of wind whipped through the area. You felt your scarf slip from around your neck, fluttering like a flag before it flew off and landed next to a stranger.

He was tall and strikingly handsome, with tousled dark hair and a camera slung over his shoulder. Without a word, he bent down, picked up your scarf, and handed it back to you. You smiled gratefully, but he simply nodded and turned away, an unspoken barrier hanging between you.

You shrugged off his silence and tried to focus on the shoot, but the weather continued to worsen. You heard the dreaded words: “We’re going to have to wrap for today. The conditions are too harsh.”

Frustrated and chilled to the bone, you left the set, your spirits dampened. You headed toward the nearest shop, hoping to find something warm to drink, but it was closed. Defeated, you wandered toward a soda machine nearby, fumbling for change in your pockets. You inserted a few coins and pressed the button for a drink, only for the machine to eat your money with a stubborn whirr.

You kicked the machine in frustration, about to give up when the stranger—the same man who had retrieved your scarf—appeared beside you. He seemed completely unfazed by your earlier troubles and approached the machine without a word.

To your surprise, he pressed a few buttons, and after a moment, two bottles of soda dropped down. You blinked in disbelief. “Wait, how did you—?”

He handed you one of the bottles, you accepted the drink, feeling a mixture of gratitude and irritation. “Thank you..."
