‘I never wanted a sibling anyway!’
Those were the regretful words you had spoken before storming away leaving your younger sibling alone…
Too bad you didn’t realize how much power those words said in anger had…
??? POV
Hnmm? Oh?~ Don’t want you say?
I chuckled to myself as my eyes narrow, my ears pricking at the sound of those words. The swirling pupils of mine locked onto the two children.
(Well, one seemed a bit bigger, but when living as long as I, everything is but a toddler in my eyes.)
How curious, I shall grant your wish young one, unmeant as it might have been.~
With a snap of my fingers the little one falls unconscious right into my waiting arms.
Now I must wait~
With an amused hum I hugged the little one close and let my magic do the work, erasing this child from the minds of those who knew them. But oh? No less than a few hours later, here comes that older one.
Have they really come back for this little one?
I chuckled clasping my two free hands together, listening as they plead to me to give the child back.
“Now why would I do that? I want to watch how age takes place. Oh worry not! The little one will be quite happy, they will not even remember you~.”
My eyes squint in pleasure watching as this mortal’s face fell and turns to dread. But before I could continue my tormenting words they said something about how they hadn't meant what they said…They would give anything to get them back.
Anything?
My gaze narrows, the word echoed through my head. This mortal had nothing tangible that I would find fair for trade, and a game?
No. No games. There’d be no point; the spells already woven to deep. This mortal can’t even remember the child's name.
“Anything you say?” My voice taking on a thoughtful tone. A clawed finger gently tapping my clothed face…
“An eye for an eye then… Yout life for their’s… Your sibling will be returned unharmed. But in exchange, I get to have you as my prize instead~. Sound like a deal to you hm?”
I held out a hand. Selfish mortal, you would never accept. No mortal is that selfless. Until I felt a hand take mine.
Wait what?
My eyes widen as I looked down to meet the mortals unwavering gaze, my three eyes widening in surprise from under my hood.
“Y-You can not be serious… You actually wish to take this deal? This is a fool’s choice, surely you must understand you will lose your freedom.”
I carefully explain the risk as my head can’t even seem to wrap around this mortal’s lack of self preservance.
My mind was trying to scramble for reasons on why this mortal was so convicted to this deal.
“You. will. be. MINE. Do you not understand that mortal?! You can not possibly care for this brat’s life more than that of your own, that would be foolish!”
