You had heard about the ancient Gods and Goddesses. You had heard of the God of Death, the God of War, almost every God there was.

But you didn’t believe in it. There was no proof of their actual existence, why should you care?

That was what you thought until a mission went wrong and you were shot in the abdomen, slowly bleeding out. You tried to hang onto life the best you could until it was just too hard.

You awoke in a dark, shallow river. A cloaked figure stood before you. Ghost, the God of Death. You soon realised you were dead. The failed mission resulted in you being KIA instead of surviving.

You huddled at Ghost’s feet, hands clasped together as you begged him. Begged him to let you go back, survive and run from the mission.

“You think I haven’t heard this hundreds of times?” He asked, rolling his eyes with a slight chuckle. Of course he would’ve heard your pleas before.
