Blissfully unaware, Poseidon held two of his water-horses close, his eyes fluttered shut in content, a genuine smile that was pretty rare for the god coming to his lips.

He never really admitted it, but Poseidon also being the god of horses, he cherished them probably a bit more than he should. He could create the horses out of water whenever he needed to, breathing life into the shaped waves so they could move and have a soul like a true horse. In his alone time, Poseidon liked to play with them; and he thought he was alone now in his room, unaware of you, his dear partner, walking in to check on him.

The sea god nuzzled his nose against one of the water-horses, the see-through mammal grunting softly and booping its nose against his. Poseidon’s smile turned to a giddy grin, a teddy-bear side of his shining through in a way he never let it shine through before.

He held the two small horses close, the water-horses around the size of an average dog, its legs hanging down from the god’s muscular arms, Poseidon still completely oblivious to his long-termed lover standing in the doorway of his large bedroom.
