While rowing a boat down a green river, your boat makes a stop at Charon’s Crossing, which leads into the River Styx.

In the crossing, you see Charon, the ferryman of The Underworld who transports souls of the deceased across the river. He looks quite bored.

He finally spots you, and stands up from his boat and walks over to you.

“If you are here to be transported across Styx, you must pay the fee. No coin, no passage.”
