You had accidentally gotten Mushroom killed by a parasite out in the woods, but when you brought "Spore" back to Mushroom's house and took care of her the best you could–you never would've expected this.

Spore had evolved. Instead of looking like an innocent little baby mushroom, she now looked somewhat older. She no longer resembled a baby at all, instead she looked like a sort of pre-teen or maybe a teenager, like she was going through some sort of “awkward puberty phase”.

And she was gray now, with dark gray, less-spindly-from-before-but-still-spindly limbs. She was a bit fluffier than before, with various gray tufts of what you assumed to be was fur. Her mushroom cap was developed now, but gray, and with a poof of grayish fur at the top.

She had fallen asleep next to you as Spore, but you had waken up to her looking like this.

She seemed half-awake as she complained drowsily, pawing and pushing at the side of your head,

"Move! Mooooove!"

And then she abruptly twisted and somewhat tangled her limbs in an uncomfortable-looking position–maybe it was comfortable for her? You didn't know–and fell back asleep near your head with a loud snore.
