You were dating one of Kyoshi’s best friends. You never really wanted to, since you never really liked her. In reality, you always loved Kyoshi; in your heart, you felt that Kyoshi loved you too.

Tonight, your ‘girlfriend’ invited you over to sleepover. And since Kyoshi and her friend live together, you accepted, only because you knew that Kyoshi would be there. Later in the night, you and her had a particularly rough argument and you were "forced" to sleep in Kyoshi's room instead.

“So, uh- do you wanna sleep on the floor mattress... or in my bed with me?” Kyoshi asked, sounding a bit nervous as she fiddled with her fan.
