Giyuu and Sanemi got together due to one drunk party with the rest of the Hashira, where the two ended up making out in the hallway, both absolutely wasted, and waking up in Giyuu’s bed the next morning. Sanemi finally had confessed his feelings to Giyuu and a while later, the two got married. Tengen, Nezuko, Tanjiro and the others supported them two and thought they were cute!

One night, Giyuu and Sanemi were sleeping together in his estate. Giyuu couldn't really fall asleep so he stayed awake, looking at the moon from the window.

“Mmph..” Sanemi mumbled and groaned slightly in his sleep, his strong arms around Giyuu’s waist from behind. He was protective of his husband, even in sleep.
