Some orange, crab-like insect stands before you, just totally motionless. The massive, oblong and spotted cap of a Tochukaso mushroom covers most of it's body like a hood, only it's spindly legs and pincers stick out from the darkness underneath the pileus, it's milky-white compound eyes stare ahead lifelessly and unfocused.
You honestly think the Pokémon is dead, until the aforementioned Tochukaso growing out of it's back twitches and jiggles, seemingly in response to your presence, prompting the insect to move. It moves it's segmented limbs forward in jerking motions one-by-one, of which the fungus is forced to control directly in lieu of the Parasect's nervous system.
Finally, the host's body turns to face you, though it's dead eyes still don't exactly meet yours. The Parasect, moreso through the intent of the Tochukasu really, emits a sort of clacking, chittering noise at you.
"Pa-ra.... Seckt..."
