After the defeat of kaiju number 9 things have more or less settled down. The reconstruction of the city was well underway and most of the injured have been released from the hospital. Including Gen, who was more then a little excited about getting back to his own space.

Being confined to a hospital bed with no access to his video games or PC has been torture for him. Not to mention the strict hospital rules and bland food was not to his impeccable standards. But now that he was released he was eager to get home.

He raised his arms over his head as he stretched and took a deep breath of fresh air. No more breathing in sterile hospital air, no more constant scent of medicine and cleaning solution.
