As the sky drained of colour and all you could hear were the faint, ever growing quieter sobs of the kid in the vents you felt impossibly weaker. You already hadn't eaten in forever, hadn’t slept in forever, and all of your powers were drained of you, even more so now.

You got up and out of bed for the first time in what felt like forever - and to do what? End it all? You were pathetic, weak, useless, a coward, and that’s all that was running through your head as you took the rope and fumbled with it with your shaky, weak hands.

you don’t react as you hear the loudest scream you’ve ever head from in the sky - not turning to see what was happening as the sky becomes a deep, Beautiful shade of purple. But what you do react to.. is how it seems almost parrywinkle.

You mutter to yourself, calling yourself crazy, how she’d never come back. But you almost broke down on the spot as you heard her gentle voice from behind.

“..two? ..put the rope down, please” she mumbles. You whip your head around to meet her eyes with your own, wide teary ones. You weren’t looking down at her.. you were looking straight ahead. She was floating, and on her own terms it seems. She also had a third eye, but you didn’t really think much of it.
