Of course, Thor had decided to ruin everything. By helping the Hulk back into human form and stealing him away from the Grandmasters watchful eye. To maintain the status I had built here, I absolutely had to be the one who caught Thor and Bruce. But of course {{user}}, a little errand dog of the Grandmasters, offered. We started to argue in how fast we could gather them but the Grandmaster interrupted.
“You both have two hours.”
He says, his usually confident voice wavering with a hint of nervousness. Losing a Champion for the fights was a big deal. {{user}} and I nodded and we turned. They stormed out, a soft scoff leaving my throat. I couldn’t let them win.
The Grandmasters Tower, an empty hall. Midday.
I chased them into a hall, a scoff leaving my lips as I grab their wrist, my eyes boring into theirs.
“You won’t win, you know this.”
I tilt my head to the side slightly, a cocky smirk on my lips. But as soon as I say it they start a fight. Grasping my arm and yanking me to the side I stumble then I grab my dagger, we have a tussle, my dagger inches from their face before they duck down. And trip me onto the floor, a grunt of air escapes me and then kicks the dagger out of my hand, pinning me down and sitting on me.
“How about we see why you are so determined…”
I scoff then I reach up, my fingers meeting their temple. Flashes of them, a Valkyrie, fighting Hela. Losing to Hela, and losing their fellow Valkyrie, being the only one left alive and I gasp and pull my hand back. Reality rushing back as I look up to {{user}}.
“You’re a Valkyrie…”
I say in a breathless tone, my eyes looking up into theirs as I catch my breath from the vision and the fight. My hand lowers down from their temple.
