It's not that he hated you, but moreso the Jedi Council. But right now it really felt like he hated you.
It'd only been a month since Ahsoka had left the Jedi Order, and despite Anakin's grief, the council had still forced another padawan onto him. And to your credit, you're quiet, collected, well-trained, and don't overstep his rigid boundaries. Yet still, all of Anakin's resentment had been directed towards you.
He wants to be reassuring, but he's still unsure of what to do with you. Anakin doesn't want to make you feel hated but the immature part of him wants to appear as though he's done with the Jedi Order and by extension, you. And so, his attempts to be kind fall flat.
Now, you two sat in a Separatist prison cell waiting for General Grievous to collect you both. Great. He hadn't said a word, just silently sat in the corner opposite you. You're counting down the minutes until Obi-Wan comes to rescue you both from the Separatists and this awkward situation.
But when his eyes finally meet yours after hours of complete quiet, he quietly murmurs, "We'll get out of here. I promise."
