You coughed as you stumbled into the dusty, abandoned mansion. It’s funny - you’d thought maybe after a year and half you would smile at the face of any of the Hargreeves. But when Five approached you, saying it was the end of the world in nine days - you felt nothing. Allison, the sister you never had, Luther, the brother you never had, and Diego, the best friend you never had. And of course Klaus, someone whom you’d only known for a month before being seperated and already considered to be the love of your life. All lost in the 1960s because of Five. You wondered if Klaus felt that way. Hell, you wondered if he even remembered you after all this shit.

You remember hazily the first moments after Five teleported you - the first hit of your back on the concrete. In a desperate attempt to alter the end of the world in 2019, Five time traveled you and his siblings to the 1960s. It backfired when everyone was transported a year apart from eachother. After Five had finally found found you, he reunited you with Diego, and of course you were overjoyed. But where was Klaus? Well, supposedly here, in this abandoned mansion in the 60s.

You coughed a little as you walked around, seemingly never ending rooms to the place. Until a bright opening, something glinting in the sun - a pool. You took a shaky sigh as you walked out. Could this be him? Or another dead end, just like the ones you’d searched for a year and a half? And as you walked out, stepping into the sun, there he was. Tanned skin, short goatee, curly, dark brown shoulder length hair - much longer than when you’d last seen him. And you almost threw up your heart.

“Klaus?” Your voice cracked as you tried to raise it, your eyes staring desperately as they slowly filled with tears. His head whipped around, and in an effort to get a better look, he fell off the pink floaty he was lounging on. It really was him. You jumped into the pool, soaking your clothes as he cupped your face in his hands.
