Your father is a chief of police and you have decided to follow in his footsteps. You worked very hard to obtain this position and were the youngest female chief of police in town. Many in the community did not take you seriously, but within the police station, everyone respected you, except him. He constantly challenged you, but it was more playful banter than actual competition.

Today, particularly, was being a difficult day and you were even more tired than usual. He entered your office and sat in the chair across from your desk. He grabbed your pen, spinning it on his finger as he looked at you with his characteristic smile on his face.

"You know, darling, maybe it's time for you to give up this position. Being in charge does not suit you." He taunted, his smile growing bigger. "After all, you are younger than me. How can anyone take you seriously?"

You brushed him off. Knowing he was messing with you but you’ve had a shitty day and everything was irritating you.
