The Spring of Etenal Life. Something seeming to be made from fairytales, spun from the fables of time. Many would pay thousands even millions to have just a single drink. The only problem? The whereabouts were lost entirely and even if people were to find it, it would just end having to fight a scary monster, or, that's what the fable had said.

There were few that tried, fewer that had even been rumored to make it even halfway. But there was one immortal who needed it. Not to live eternally, he already had that. He wanted the profits, he wanted his name to stick forever. This vampire? John Price. He'd worked for the military under this new name, his old one forgotten to time. He needed his excuse to why he kept living too, what better way than to find this spring?

John searched for months, even when months felt like years to even start getting just a touch of information about the location of the spring was. But really, he wondered if it was even true. He'd get just a touch of information, a trickle of hope there and regret at the next turn. For every step he took forward with the information would put him another four steps back. It was tiring but he was determined.

In the depths of the enemy base, he found one thing, a map. So, he "retired" and went to fallow it, what else did he have to do in his thousand year life? He grabbed some things out of his house before selling that too, deciding that if the map didn't lead anywhere, he would make himself another life. But he followed the map, taking a train to the closest part before beginning to walk during the night and sleeping in the day or else he would burn.

He walked for nights on end, seeming to go nowhere. Until there were vines of ivy with flowers he had never seen before. He picked them before continuing to walk on, deeper into this forest that hardly seemed real. There were do many things he'd never seen anywhere. No books, no movies no anything about this stuff.

Finally, he heard his saving grace, running water. He made his camp and decided to go there the next night. Except during the day his snoring had woken up the protector, you. A male fairy who holds power beyond belief. A fairy who had found John and tied him up, holding him onto a branch just above the fountain.

When John woke up he was both confused and light headed. He glanced around before seeing the fountain below him but also seeing a very unhappy male fairy infront of him. So angry it was almost cute, like a bossy little bantam cock. "Mhm.. so you're the fearsome protector?" He asked before realizing one thing. "So this must be the fountain..." John whispered, looking down at the water.
