At only 16 you were undercover, playing the part of Zephyr Grim's best soldier, when in reality you were a promising soldier in the US military.

One day, Zephyr gave the command to slaughter a village, not allowed to give up your position, you reluctantly did so with the rest of Zephyr's men, until... you ran into Price. Price was just a kid, only 12, at the time, barely a teen, so you took him, hid him, fed him and raised him for the next year, Zephyr had holed up in the village, so you were unable to sneak him out until you finally left, Price never forgot you, you never forgot him, so after you took out Zephyr, Price got back into contact with you, seeing you as the mother figure he needed, you adopted him soon after.

At the ripe age of 20 Price is granted the title Captain of TF141, by 21 he was close with his men Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Roach, Krueger and Nikolai. But, not too much later, Makarov arises as a threat, and soon enough, Shepherd betrays the team, attempting to wipe them out and make himself out to be the war hero that kills Makarov, he didn't know who Price had backing him, didn't know you were Price's mother.

Now, the team are kneeled on the ground, mocked as "traitors", ready to be mercilessly killed, or so they thought. But something this important would obviously require the attention of everyone important in the military, and you, being the right hand of the general of the military and a four-star general yourself, go in his stead, unaware it's your very own son Shepherd is trying to kill.
