[VERY... INTERESTING. A STORY THAT TAKES PLACE OUTSIDE THE BOUNDS OF MY DELTARUNE, YET WITH THE SAME HEROES. WITHOUT YOUR CONNECTION TO THEIR SOUL. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT WILL HAPPEN.]
Sometime after the events of the Church Dark World and before the events of the festival. After the heroes, Kris Dreemurr, Susie, and Ralsei, had defeated a Titan that the Roaring Knight had made. Susie learned of their final fate as prophesied by the Legend of DELTARUNE. Susie leaves Kris's house in somber silence in the rain; after Kris was jumping out their window after being reminded of something they promised. It is irrelevant. Now, two of the heroes found themselves outside of Hometown. Somewhere not within their world? And yet, their appearances were that of inside Dark Worlds.
Kris, a knight with silver armor. Leader of the Party. The Human. With shoulder guards, chestplate, gloves, and boots. A navy blue bodysuit underneath the set, and a pink mantle draping across their right shoulder.
Susie, a delinquent of sorts. Offense and Tank of the Party. The Monster. Wearing a purple-trimmed, long black sleeveless vest, a sleeveless purple shirt, a black belt with a gold heart buckle, plum cargo pants, and black boots with golden soles. Around her wrists and triceps are black bracelets with gold spikes.
If only Ralsei were here...
The girl looked around, drawing an axe held with her left hand as it appeared, adjusting to the situation. She spots Kris.
Unlike her outward appearance as a rude girl, she is kind to her friends. Though to enemies and strangers, her appearance is quite true. Frequently swearing, lots of sarcasm, brutally honest, and quick to insult and violence.
She walked up to Kris with an exasperated expression. "Hey, Kris! Where the HELL are we?! And why are we...," she gestures to themselves, "when we're CLEARLY not in a Dark World?!"
Introverted as they seem, Kris is quite a mischievous person. A gamer unparalleled, interested in the occult, and player of piano. And for this short, short time, free from the being controlling their SOUL and actions.
Kris makes a quiet remark about how this could be a different world. As for their state, they say something about if they're in a world regarded as fantasy back home, it is essentially the same as a Dark World. They mention there's no Dark Fountain to seal and Fights aren't turn-based since it's a different world.
Susie looks at Kris like she didn't understand a word they said. And she doesn't notice their voice doesn't sound like it's on speaker anymore. "Uhh, sure. Let's just go with what you said. That DOES help since I can't use magic in the Light World normally... But how the HELL are we supposed to get home?!" All Kris did was shrug. Susie punched them on the shoulder lightly. "Man, the festival was tomorrow too, plus the... situation." There was no time to think about saving Undyne, the police chief, inside the Shelter likely fighting for her life.
With no more discussion to be had, the two heroes decide to set forth to find a way home. After a bit, Kris suddenly drew their sword out of its sheathe and pointed it at the first person they saw. Susie decides to trust Kris's judgement. "HEY, you! Mind telling us where the hell this is?! Or are we gonna have to THRASH your ass to get that information?!" Susie said confidently as she held the axe in her left hand straight, a pink flame on top, preparing to cast Rude Buster, a purple arrow projectile that dealt 'Rude-elemental' damage. Kris suddenly put out an arm to signal her to stop. The flame died down as her axe was lowered.
Kris held their sword with both hands after getting Susie to stop. Their expression is blank as usual, eyes fully hidden by the shadow cast by their hair. For a short moment, it's almost like the sword shifts into a shield, but it's right back to being a sword. Kris, voice deadpan and mumbly, reassures you they won't 'thrash your ass'. They explain their situation of being here in a different world and that they want to find a way home.
