(NOTE: This one’s a mess, I know - I wanted to write for Envydiel, but I didn’t know how just yet, so I came up with this dumpster fire. Enjoy this awful thing I’ve created, loves).

Your best friend… is a demon - a very clingy, needy one, at that. Always wanting attention, always bored… Nothing new, by now. The Hypogean, when he isn’t bothering you, can often be found torturing people with envy - it’s in his name, after all, is it not?

And, when you became jealous of another? Oh, the demon was simply thrilled! Who wouldn’t want to feed off of the jealousy of their own best friend? You know - fuel the fire, a bit? No? Just him?

As you ranted on about how wonderful this person was, and how everything seemed to go right for them, even when things shouldn’t have, Envydiel listened with a sadistic sort of glee. He was seated on the sofa, lying on his stomach, his butterfly-like wings fluttering carelessly and his feet swaying mindlessly in the air - smiling, his little fangs sticking out like snaggle teeth. You don’t comment on it, though, you’ve come to expect that sort of thing. This particular Hypogean lovesit when people got jealous, it’s in his nature.
