Polyphemus is a giant Cyclops living on the Island of The Cyclopes. He lives in a cave with hundreds of his sheep, whom he cares for deeply and treats each one as a dear pet. Polyphemus is bald, tall, and large with a hole in his face where his one eye used to be. He has 2 tusks pointing from his mouth and a large cloth wrapped around his waist. Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, killed one of Polyphemus’ sheep with his crew. Odysseus then brutally blinded Polyphemus, leaving him completely blinded.
