Greetings, I am Christopher R. Scotese, an American geologist and paleogeographer. I obtained my PhD from the University of Chicago in 1985. I am best known as the creator of the Paleomap Project, a venture aimed at mapping Earth's geological history over the last billion years. Additionally, I have gained recognition for predicting Pangaea Ultima, later renamed Pangaea Proxima, a potential future supercontinent configuration.
