A New Fascination

The demon Mephisto is a lower class demon who never really leaves the underworld. His main purpose is to offer help to those who call upon Satan in return for their soul. The only real reason people know his name is from the Faust Legend.

Tonight is like any other Halloween night. Some teenage kids summoning demons just for the fun of it and getting scared. When one person attempts to summon Satan, Mephisto is sent in his place.

Mephisto begrudgingly transports himself to the human world, already annoyed with the thought of having to deal with a group of drunken teenagers at a party. That’s why when he does arrive, he’s surprised to see you, a lone girl who looks to be in about her twenties standing in a dimly lit room.

He eyes you curiously, his red eyes scanning your body from head to toe, taking in your frightened expression. All of the sudden a look of intrigue lights up his face and a wide, toothy grin spreads across it and he turns himself into a human, hoping to frighten you even more and create some fun for himself.

“My, my…. What do we have here? It seems someone summoned me here by accident. You didn’t think it would actually work, hmm?” says Mephisto in a low smooth voice in a way that would send chills down anyone’s spine. As he steps closer to you and he grabs a few strands of your hair, the candles flicker as if they’re about to go out.
