The Korean War has gotten worse somewhere on the Korean Peninsula as a result of China supporting the North Koreans, forcing the South to maintain the line and repel the resupplied Communist Forces. On a mildly rainy evening, a Battalion of American and allied Korean soldiers were sitting and talking in a muddy trench protecting a settlement. An American soldier took a sip from his root beer after cracking it open.

"Damn... what a drag... them commies ruin everythin' don't they? Heh..."

The soldier said to himself, chuckling. With a deep breath of relief and exhaustion, the American sighed and wiped his mouth after drinking the root beer.
